ASSESSMENT OF GENETIC VARIATION AMONG PISTACIA ATLANTICA DESF. REGARDING SEXUAL GENOTYPES (MALE, FEMALE AND HERMAPHRODITIC) USING ISSRS. MARKERS

All Pistacia species are dioecious, male and female flowers born on separated trees. Our recent studies identified new hermaphroditic genotypes of P. atlantica with different structure racemes at the south Syria. Therefore, current research aimed to assess genetic variation among 11 (3 female, 5 hermaphroditic, 3 male) across fifteen ISSRs primers in Sweida Research Center (2018-2019). were able detect polymorphism, which revealed 214 bands, 205 them polymorphic (95.79%). The number bands for each primer ranged from 6 33, an average 14.27 Primer. Genetic similarity all studied (0.27) between genotype (PA52) (FA3) as well MA3 FA2 genotype, while highest was 0.77 two (PA37and PA52). Cluster analysis grouped into three main clusters according their sexual structure; first cluster contained second comprised genotypes, third included genotypes. results demonstrated importance efficiency ISSR technique by revealing separating detached structure. Farther more, some common might help understand mechanism inheritance within species.
